1932-33 Catalogue

Due to the deepening of the Great Depression in Philadelphia, no catalogue was made available for this season. Still, the typed version (usually sent to the printer) was produced in three copies. It is here that Tabuteau’s Wind Ensemble is mentioned for the first time. Even in these hard times, money was found to send the Curtis Orchestra to New York City to perform in Carnegie Hall.
