Wins Decoration: Mme. Tabuteau Honored by France for Work Here

Madame Louise Andre Tabuteau, head of the French department at Shipley School, Bryn Mawr, and professor of French at Curtis Institute of Music, has just been awarded the Palmes d’Officier d’Academie by the French Government, it was learned today.

The award was made for her educational work in the field of French culture. Madame Tabuteau is the wife of Marcel Tabuteau, first oboist of the Philadelphia Orchestra, and himself a member of the Legion of Honor.
