For my final lesson in the summer of 1964, as a parting memento, Tabuteau wrote a note of remembrance on the reverse of a photograph I had taken of him (see below). M. M.
Before inscribing the above memento, Tabuteau did two ‘trial runs’ mulling over what to write (see below). I kept the two scraps of paper as mementos of the memento! M. M.
