The two photographs below are of Tabuteau in his Nice apartment after his passing; courtesy of Guy Baumier.
The three photographs below of Le Tombeau de Tabuteau at the hillside Cimetière de l’Est in Nice, France, were taken in July 2016 by Ms. Pamela Ajango; Instructor of Oboe at Butler University, and Oboe/English Horn of the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra.
The two photographs below were taken recently by Delmar Williams while visiting Tabuteau’s grave in Nice. Observing its deterioration, he made arrangements for the stone re-lettering and sent us photos showing before and after the repair. Thanks to the following musicians who contributed to the cost: Pamela Ajango, Mark Biggam, Richard Kravchak, Meredith McCree, Philip McKenzie, Candi Cody Morris, Marc Mostovoy and Delmar Williams. Many others offered to help as well but the contributions received covered the cost.
