It was only in 1941 when the orchestra began to be listed in the program book for the annual Bethlehem Bach Festival, so it is not clear regarding the years Tabuteau played before that time. But we do know that he performed for six years in May—from 1941 to 1945 and in 1947. Sometimes he was given solo billing and other times not. Nevertheless, the Bach repertoire he played consistently included prominent solos which he ‘dispatched’ with great artistry. The following constitute the programs where Tabuteau is listed.
