As Teacher

Tabuteau taught and coached students of all disciplines at Curtis and privately; individually, and in ensemble–in a wide range of music. This included solo repertoire, orchestral works, chamber music, didactic works, and so forth. It is a vast area and we can’t know every piece that he taught; but in her biography of Marcel Tabuteau, Laila Storch gives a good sense of it. For the purposes of this website, presented below is a list of music that Tabuteau taught, confirmed by those who studied with him.
