It is with great sadness that we inform our viewers of the passing of Editorial Board member Laila Storch (1921-2022), a pioneering woman oboist and Marcel Tabuteau’s revered biographer. Her contributions on many levels have made this website possible. We honor the life and legacy of Laila Storch.

It is with great sadness that we inform our readers of the sudden passing of David Weber (1947-2020), a highly knowledgeable and deeply devoted member of our Editorial Board. His quest to preserve the musical teachings of Marcel Tabuteau for posterity was inspiring. He will be missed.

The Editorial Board expresses deepest appreciation to board members emeritus, Charles and Nancy Lehrer, for their dedication and invaluable contributions to this website from its inception. They will be missed.
